Appointed to Ryther's Board of Trustees in April 2023

Kashi is the Program Director for the Behavioral Health Service Line at Seattle Children’s; she supports strategic initiatives and programmatic work across the continuum of Seattle Children's mental and behavioral health services as well as the organization-wide mental and behavioral health initiative, Generation REACH.

Having previously worked in Community Health & Government Affairs, Kashi continues to support mental and behavioral health-focused advocacy efforts at the local, state, and federal level. She previously represented Washington State's Child and Youth Behavioral Health Workgroup on the statewide Crisis Response Improvement Strategy (CRIS) Committee to redesign the crisis system in Washington State as we implemented the new National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, 988. Kashi's first role at Seattle Children's was working on the inpatient Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine Unit (PBMU) as well as on the Emergency Department Mental Health Team supporting kids and families experiencing a mental health crisis.

Kashi was born and raised in Washington State. She has a bachelor’s in Psychology from Occidental College in Los Angeles and a Master of Public Health from the University of Washington.
