Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

Ryther ABA focuses on evidence-based practices and strategies that are based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This includes Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Positive Behavior Support (PBS), and Naturalistic Teaching Strategies (NaTS). At Ryther ABA, families will work alongside a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to identify goals and help develop an individualized treatment plan that is developmentally appropriate for their child. Individualized treatment plans depend on assessment and caregiver input. Sessions will be conducted 1:1 with a Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) and with the supervision of the BCBA to ensure quality care and to meet the client’s individual needs. Our center-based ABA program uses evidence-based strategies to work on language, communication, emotional regulation, skill acquisition, and behavior management. Our program also offers caregiver-training sessions to reinforce skill maintenance and generalization. Additionally, ABA program staff will consult regularly with mental health experts to approach any emerging mental health concerns from a multidisciplinary lens.
